The Rotary Food Project is a revolutionary way to collect food for those in need on a year round basis. Neighborhood Coordinators (NC) enlist their neighbors to become Donors to the Rotary Food Pantry.
What is it?
How the project works
It's a simple solution: Neighborhood Coordinators (NC) agree to organize a small group of their friends and neighbors to become donors. This can be any group that they choose to coordinate. Food Donors are neighbors who agree to give food every two months.
When a neighbor joins
The NC gives a reusable bag to them and suggests that they buy one extra item from the list each time they go to the store. Then every two months, NC picks up the bag of food, leave an empty bag and bring the food to the Food Pantry.
When is pickup Day?
Pickup day is the second Saturday of each even month (February, April, June, August, October, and December).
